SUMMARY:Recognizing the Christ Impulse
DESCRIPTION:Friday night Jonah will explore some of Steiner’s predictions for our time and how to discern their reality. We will deepen the question of how we find the Christ in our time\, how we can see His workings\, and reveal ways to experience His etheric reality today. Saturday and Sunday Lisa will be presenting inner development in the light of anthroposophy as a path for every individual to awaken themselves. We will be exploring and understanding that through the various steps of awakening and inner development we can recognize the Christ impulse at work. SUMMARY:Sex Education and The Spirit
DESCRIPTION:A healthy relationship to gender and sexuality supports our wellbeing\, both as individuals and as a community. The form of sex education that we bring to children and adolescents not only needs to combat the inner disturbances and imbalances created by social media and exposure to pornography – as the most prevalent sources of implicit sex-education in our time – but it also needs to serve them in cultivating useful capacities with which to meet the growing societal changes around this fundamental aspect of being human. Providing a healthy and socially constructive sex education is the responsibility not only of the primary caregivers\, parents\, and teachers\, but also of the individuals in the wider community\, who likewise contribute to the collective consciousness. SUMMARY:Spirit-led Community
DESCRIPTION:Rudolf Steiner declared that from the twentieth century onward all human beings would be able to develop a new kind of capacity: a capacity to have knowledge of the outcome of the paths that lay before them—a capacity that would enable us to foresee the inner results of the various choices that lay before us\, before walking down one or another path. However\, this capacity of foreseeing would need to be preceded by an essential step in human development—a step that constitutes the next stage of evolution for the human being. This step would be the awakening of the higher self\, which he also described as the recognition of the “second self.”\nIn the twenty-first century\, we are beginning to see this new stage of development emerging on a wider scale. Many individuals are waking up to the higher ‘I\,’ to the second self.  In this workshop we will explore this path of development\, and the possibility of individuals coming together in freedom to build new community forms that create\, support and ennoble humanity.\nFor most of us the notion of our inner liberation and our true freedom lies in our inner world of our capacities for thinking\, feeling and self determined will. Discovering how unfree in fact we are has always been one of the necessary awakenings of the inner development path. The foundations of both inner freedom and unfreedom are greatly influenced in child development. Our patterns of thinking our feelings and our will impulses are directly influenced by the community in which we grow. With the rise of technology permeating extensively our outer lives we are now being faced with its effects on our inner lives and its artificial influence over the development of thinking\, feeling and will impulses. Technology is forming our communities future and in doing so extending its persuasive influence into the inner capacities of its members.\n\nWe need to be ready\, as a collective humanity\, with capacities—with the necessary inner strengths—to freely choose the community life that we determine to be in need of propagation. DESCRIPTION:This course is based on deepening our understanding of the esoteric development of the masculine and feminine forces within the human race and how we can best support the healthy unfolding of these forces throughout individual development. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will explore how to perceive in the other\, their individual capacities by understanding child development and the influence of the collective astral body of the community at various stages of development. DESCRIPTION:Underlying our work of caring for the earth\, Rudolf Steiner articulated the reality of a multitude of forces that live both in the natural world and within the human being. An active inner life enables us to work more consciously with these forces\, and brings greater meaning to our everyday experiences\, supporting us to make health-bringing decisions in relation to the land and our lives more generally in family life\, in community and beyond. Consciously working with our outer and inner worlds in relationship to working on and caring for the land supports both the health of the earth and of the human being\, allowing each to give more to the community they serve. Together we will build a relationship to this work through presentations\, experiential exercises\, and conversation.\nThis is an EduCareDo Community Workshop facilitated by Lisa Romero and Anthony Mecca. It is open to everyone. Farmers\, gardeners\, foresters\, estate caretakers\, and other land-care workers who want to deepen their work are especially encouraged to attend. \nCost: $75. DESCRIPTION:Out of the deepest insights of human development\, Rudolf Steiner declared that from the twentieth century onward all human beings would be able to develop a new kind of capacity: a capacity to have knowledge of the outcome of the paths that lay before them—a capacity that would enable us to foresee the inner results of the various choices that lay before us\, before walking down one or another path. However\, this capacity of foreseeing would need to be preceded by an essential step in human development—a step that constitutes the next stage of evolution for the human being. This step would be the awakening of the higher self\, which he also described as the recognition of the “second self.”\nIn the twenty-first century\, we are beginning to see this new stage of development emerging on a wider scale. Many individuals are waking up to the higher ‘I\,’ to the second self.
