DESCRIPTION:The program at Collingwood includes a parent evening that will be held on Monday night and work with students during the days. For venue and times please contact the school.\nWorking Wholistically with Social Understanding\, Gender and Sex is a social program that gradually unfolds for students as they move from Class 5 to 12.\nIt encourages equality and self confidence by building recognition and acceptance of inner individuality that develops alongside changes in the physical body and the recognition of social conditioning verses the possibility of individual choice. DESCRIPTION:The lecture is for parents and other interested people. It complements the work being presented to students. It helps to recognise the relevant depth and progression anthroposophy brings to this important aspect of life and the responsibility of community in raising children and working together to promote individual wellbeing.\nIt will cover how and when we work with children and adolescents to bring the understanding of sexuality and gender in relation to where they are in their consciousness. This brings harmony between the evolving body and inner experiences that sets the ground for healthy adult experience. The talk will cover the themes of the content brought to the students and some of the main issues confronting child health and wellbeing in current times\, with examples of how we can counter the unbalancing effects. DESCRIPTION:A healthy relationship to gender and sexuality supports our well-being\, both as individuals and as a community.
