SUMMARY:Finding Resilience\, Inspiration and Strength for Our Task in the World - Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The retreats are now 5 nights\, commencing at 3pm on January 18 and finishing at 3pm on January 23.\nPlease direct all enquires for the retreat to innerworkpath@gmail.com or phone 02 6684 6147\n“Lisa Romero offers a supported inner development path based on the work of Rudolf Steiner. The retreats give time for sustained meditative focus\, a healing artistic rhythm and contemplation of truths of the spirit. It is clear that Lisa has done the decades of inner preparation to lead such retreats with integrity. The whole retreat is sensitively organised as a healing experience for participants and a source of rejuvenation in our busy lives. The retreats can offer an important support for a teacher’s vocational tasks which require a steadfast inner bearing and connection to inspirations for the creative work ahead.”      Peggy Day – Teacher Educator\, lead writer Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework \n“The Inner work path retreats are a gift to one’s self\, beyond the intellect;  a chance to come together with other like minded beings to work\, nurture and balance all aspects of one’s being\, at a deeply transformational level.”      Darren Holmes – Bd farmer\, eco builder \n“Every detail of the retreats seems aimed at creating a space where one can enter deeply into the vast and transformative content that Lisa and her colleagues are bringing. Everything is taken care of with a quiet grace and beauty and you are left free to participate in  the community of inwardly striving\, questioning\, practicing friends that develops over the course of the retreat. The rhythm of the day is beautifully balanced and it leaves you with an inner experience of what it feels like to live through a deeply nourishing and digestible day\, which is what we would ideally be bringing to the children we teach\, and for which there are so few models in our super fast and consumptive world. Most importantly\, one becomes part of group of individuals helping each other to grow and develop in a mood of reverence\, warmth\, love and striving attunement to the spiritual world. I’d encourage anyone to whom Lisa’s work speaks to most definitely experience it in the context of a retreat if they really want a chance to take hold of the pictures and practices she brings and make them part of their lives\, whilst also benefitting from the connections that develop by being with others involved in the same work.”      Katrina Stowe – Teacher  \n“Developing the self through the inner work has given me profound insight and ability to differentiate between my thoughts and actions fuelled by egotism\, and those led by the Higher Self. As a mental health practitioner\, this light can now guide my interventions\, enhancing rapport and transformation.”      Anthea Fraser –  Practitioner \n“The retreats have given me the opportunity\, time\, space and inspiration to fully experience meditation without distraction or the demands of work or family life\, and with the support and strength of a gifted and generous teacher and wonderful support team. Every time I’ve been on a retreat it’s given me what I’ve needed at that time\, and each time has been completely different\, but always rich and inspiring. I’d really encourage anyone thinking about it\, anyone who feels drawn to a retreat. I think it’s a remarkable opportunity\, and a very welcoming atmosphere. And it makes no difference whether you have lots of experience or none at all ”      Lisa Brockwell – Parent\, poet

SUMMARY:Initiation in the 21st Century
DESCRIPTION:The inner development residential retreats are designed to deepen our relationship to the inner work at all levels. At the same time as being replenishing and inspiring they provide a nourishing and balanced environment\, giving us a readiness to meet our lives more fully. Lectures and health-giving experiences through the arts\, daily practice and supported rest bring healthy rhythms and rejuvenation.\nModern initiation is not as it was in the past; for the chosen few. Many individuals – even half of the world’s population\, will at some point from now onward\, begin to take the initiation steps on the progressive path of human development. However this necessary stage of development must be undertaken by each individual freely out of themselves. For those individuals who choose the path of higher development\, it will lead them to the development of a direct living connection with spiritual insight.  Individuals who have in freedom chosen the initiation path\, may then choose to build new community forms that do not harm\, but that create\, support\, and ennoble humanity. This retreat will support an understanding and development of our own and others’ unfolding within this necessary next step in human evolution.\n\n$1200 including all meals and private accomodation.\nSangsurya is the venue only. Please direct all expressions of interest and enquires to innerworkpath@gmail.com\nBookings can be made by clicking here and completing an online enrolment form.

SUMMARY:Towards Health & Healing: helping others forward - Retreat
DESCRIPTION:In this retreat through the lens of the inner work\, we will enter into the study of the healing conversation; looking at what we can do and what role we may hold in the healing path of another. \nWhen we understand our task we may also understand the activity of the healing forces working towards wholeness through the life transitions\, crises or illness processes. Anthroposophy places human freedom as the guiding principle in all its healing modalities\, therefore we must also understand what brings un-freedom and how to meet this as health practitioners of either body or soul. \nThis retreat is highly valuable for health practitioners\, Waldorf teachers and those with a living interest in health and healing. \nRetreats provide a nourishing & balanced space to immerse in the inner work. Lectures and health giving experiences of eurythmy\, art\, singing and external applications (oil dispersion baths\, compresses etc) support daily practice and rejuvenation. \nThe fee is inclusive of private accommodation\, meals and activities.

SUMMARY:The Initiation of the I - Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This retreat will explore ways in which we can prepare ourselves for the path of initiation. \nOnce the body has grown\, the soul begins to develop\, either in relationship to the physical body which is limited and transient\, or within its own capacities whereby the soul develops through sentient experience into intellectual reasoning and finally towards full consciousness. It is during this development of the capacities which occur through individual effort\, that the I may begin its initiation. \nThe path of initiation leads us towards transformation of the soul’s capacities into organs of spiritual perception and a living relationship with the spiritual world. The participation in the truth that is traced out in the spiritual world becomes the source of our giving towards the outer life and transforms the outer world in which we all participate. \nEven before we are called onto the path of initiation we can prepare ourselves by understanding the way and the truth of the unfolding schooling we shall take. \nRetreats provide a nourishing & balanced space to immerse in the inner work. Lectures and health giving experiences of eurythmy\, art\, singing and external applications (oil dispersion baths\, compresses etc) support daily practice and rejuvenation. \nFee is all inclusive of private accommodation\, meals and activities.
