As we turn towards preparing for the Christmas festival we are aware that although festivals are connected to the seasons and in this way have everything to do with outer life and community life, in the esoteric schooling we are engaged primarily with following the festivals as they connect to our inner life and the soul and spiritual development path.

Growing in our understanding through the awareness of the esoteric Christ  helps us understand the complete meaning of the spiritual year in our present day initiation. As we approach the newness of the birth pictures we open a door for the coming year and at the same time bring a close to the year that’s been.

We have been working over the course of the year with archetypes of certain exercises. In closing the year we will  work with the keys to archetypal exercises that  help us deepen our understanding of our relationship to the Christ being and why it is more important to open this relationship and unfold this understanding as these times call for it. 

Preparing for a celebration of the great possibility that the Christmas festival brings us,  we are warmed and illuminated deep within by what has already been given in the name of Love.
